Product description The Indi PRO Tools DSLR Baseplate with 9" 15mm Rods is a simple and neat solution for surrounding your camcorder or DSLR with a follow focus, a mattebox, and with other accessories that fit 15mm rods, and for efficiently mounting the whole setup onto a tripod.
At the top of the baseplate is a camera plate with a 1/4" screw for attaching a camera onto. Running along the baseplate are two 9" long, industry-standard 15mm diameter rods. And at the very bottom is a 3/8" screw-hole for mounting the baseplate onto a tripod by. A 1/4" adapter-screw comes included for turning the 3/8" screw-hole into a 1/4" screw-hole for mounting onto tripods with 1/4" screws.
The baseplate is adjustable horizontally along the rods and tightens into position on them by a lever on the side. The rods are what a follow focus, a mattebox, and other accessories attach onto. -
