Product description The PHD3 Pan and Tilt Head from Induro combines the functions of a pan and tilt head with the one-handed operation of a ball head. A large locking knob controls both axes of tilt, so one hand can unlock the head, while the other hand never has to leave the shutter.
The patented multi-axis positioning means that your camera can move along a straight axis front-to-back and side-to-side. A separate lock controls the 360° panning, while yet another locking knob allows the mounting plate to rotate 90° counter-clockwise.
The mounting clamp is Arca-type compatible and includes a 70mm dovetail quick release plate. The clamp and plate feature double safety quick release locks. A bull's-eye bubble level on the clamp ensures your camera is level to the horizon. - One-Handed Operation
- By turning the locking knob approximately a 1/8th turn, the camera moves only side-to-side. By turning the knob further, so it is fully unlocked, the camera can now move on both axes.
- Double Safety Locks
- The knob that widens the clamp and releases the plate must be pulled out before turning, preventing accidental release of the plate. Additionally, the quick release plate has two safety screws so that it will not come out of the clamp when adjusting your camera fore and aft.
