Product description The Core i3-6100 Dual-Core LGA 1151 Processor from Intel has a base clock speed of 3.7 GHz and comes with features such as Intel Hyper-Threading technology. With Intel Hyper-Threading technology, the processor delivers two processing threads per physical core. Additionally, this processor features two cores with four threads in a FCLGA1151 socket and has 3MB of Intel Smart Cache memory. Having two cores allows the processor to run multiple programs simultaneously without slowing down the system, while the four threads allow applications to complete tasks sooner by working in parallel. This processor also supports up to 64GB of DDR4-1866/2133 and DDR3L-1333/1600 MHz RAM, has SSE4.1/4.2 & AVX 2.0 Extensions, as well as AES New Instructions, 14nm semiconductor technology, and a system bus of 8 GT/s.
