Product description The NUC Mini PC Kit from Intel is a partially equipped barebones system that comes preinstalled with a 7th-generation Intel Core i3-7100U dual-core processor. In addition to speedy performance, the processor is loaded with 3MB of cache memory and has a thermal design power of 15W. This mini PC has two SO-DIMM slots that can accommodate DDR4-2133 MHz memory modules up to 32GB, which allows the system to run multiple applications at the same time. Additionally, the NUC Mini PC has space for a single 2.5" storage drive, and is compatible with Intel Optane Memory, which is used as a cache to enhance a hard drive's performance. Once the storage drive of your choice is installed, you must install an operating system such as Windows 10 or Linux.
Intel's NUC Mini PC Kit utilizes an integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 chipset that delivers a resolution up to 4K. Extending the system's display to an external monitor is possible with one of the two available HDMI 2.0a ports. To complement your visuals, the NUC Mini PC supports 7.1-channel surround sound and has an integrated headphone/microphone jack. Other notable connections include five USB 3.0 Type-A ports and three USB 2.0 Type-A ports for access to wired peripherals like keyboards, printers, and external storage drives. If you run out of USB ports, this mini PC has Bluetooth 4.2 on board, so the system can sync with wireless peripherals.
For accessing networks, the NUC Mini PC is equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet port and 802.11ac Wi-Fi. Intel packs the rest of this kit with a VESA mount bracket, so you can attach the mini PC behind a VESA-compatible monitor. There's also a mountable power adapter for powering the NUC anywhere you choose to place it. -
