Product description The NUC5CPYH Mini PC NUC Kit from Intel is a do-it-yourself barebones kit that starts with a dual-core 1.6 GHz Intel Celeron processor that can achieve up to 2.16 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost. It has one vacant SODIMM slot that can accept up to 8GB of DDR3L 1333/1600 MHz of RAM. For storage, the Mini PC can hold a SATA III 2.5" hard drive or SSD. The NUC5CPYH features an HDMI and a VGA port for video output to a monitor or TV (sold separately). For Internet connectivity, it also has 802.11ac Wi-Fi and a Gigabit Ethernet jack. For additional connectivity this system has Bluetooth 4.0 for peripherals and other external devices.There's also an SD/SDXC card slot for storage flexibility, front and rear audio jacks, and four USB 3.0 ports. One of the front USB ports can quickly charge your tablet, smartphone, or USB device. To save desk space, this system is VESA-compatible for mounting and comes with a bracket and screws. For security, it is equipped with a Kensington lock. The NUC is suitable for entry-level consumers or organizations looking for a value-oriented mini-PC. Included with this system are an AC/DC power adapter and multi-country AC plugs. - Processing and Graphics
- This NUC is equipped with a 1.6 GHz dual core Intel Celeron N3050 processor featuring Intel HD Graphics to provide enhanced performance and graphics for casual gaming, video playback, and web browsing. With Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0, this processor can achieve a maximum clock rate of 2.16 GHz. Having two cores allows the system to run multiple programs at the same time without slowing down the computer.

- The BIOS has a configuration-friendly, easy-to-use interface that lets you customize settings while reducing the risk of damaging your system. Whether you want to prioritize boot order, change the BIOS password, enable overclocking, or set fan speed, Intel Visual BIOS gives you total control.
- Compatible with Linux
- Linux can be installed, either as the primary OS or as a separate partition alongside Windows.
- Audio Out and Microphone-In Port
- The two 1/8" (3.5mm) headphone/microphone jacks, one in front, and one on the rear on the device, let you connect headphones, speakers, or headsets to the Intel NUC.
- Quiet Cooling
- The system features active cooling with minimal noise through the use of one fan.
- Kensington Lock Support
- Features a slot for a Kensington lock to be used in order to deter theft.
