Product description The NUC5i3RYHS Mini PC NUC Kit from Intel is a compact system that can be placed discreetly while providing the performance of a 2.0 GHz Intel Core i3-5005U dual-core processor with integrated graphics. It features two SO-DIMM slots that can accept up to 16GB of DDR3L 1333/1600 MHz of RAM. For long-term storage, it has room to hold a 2.5" hard drive or SSD as well as an mSATA drive connected to the M.2 slot. Once a storage drive is added, you must install an optional operating system such as Windows and Linux. It also features a mini DisplayPort and mini HDMI output for delivering high-definition content to your monitor or TV. In addition to outputting video, the system features an infrared Rx sensor that you can use an optional remote to control it right from your couch.
This NUC connects to the internet with its Gigabit Ethernet jack. For connecting with your wired peripherals, it offers four USB 3.0 Type-A ports and two USB 2.0 Type-A ports via internal header. To save desk space, the system may be mounted to a wall or the back of your VESA-compatible monitor using an optional VESA mount bracket. Moreover, you may personalize this system with different styles and features by replacing the lid. When fully equipped, the Intel NUC Mini PC is designed for everyday use and gives you the power to play, create, and entertain. - USB 3.1 Gen 1
- USB 3.1 Gen 1 features a maximum throughput of 5 Gb/s. USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.0 are synonymous.
- Processing and Graphics
- This NUC is equipped with a 5th generation 2.0 GHz Intel Core i3-5005U processor featuring integrated graphics to provide enhanced performance and improved graphics for casual and online gaming, video playback, and web browsing. Having two cores also allows the system to run multiple programs at the same time without slowing down the computer.
- Infrared Capability
- As the NUC was designed especially for home theaters, this system features a front panel infrared sensor, which allows wireless communication with infrared-compatible devices, such as remote controls, keyboards, and other devices.
- Audio Out and Microphone-In Port
- The single 1/8" (3.5mm) headphone/microphone jack on the rear of the device lets you connect headphones, speakers, or headsets to the Intel NUC.
