Product description The black HDMI/VGA Auto-Switching Wall Plate with HDBaseT Port from Intelix is a two-gang, Decora-style wall plate transmitter designed to be used as the primary PC interface in classrooms, boardrooms, and conference centers. It features VGA-plus-audio to HDMI conversion with VGA scaling up to 1920 x 1200, as well as an HDMI input. HDBaseT technology enables extension of the digital output up to 229.7' using solid-core shielded Cat 5e or higher cable. The transmitter features multiple EDID modes and is compatible with several Intelix HDBaseT receivers, but is designed to work primarily with the DIGI-HD60C-R (available separately).
The wall plate can be powered using the included power adapter or by via Power over HDBaseT (PoH). It features built-in surge protection, diagnostic LEDs, and a customizable power management system that puts the unit into a low-power state after 30 minutes without video signal or 3 hours of inactivity, by default. When using the local power input, 12 VDC is available for other devices via the power output on the rear of the unit.
The AS-1H1V-WP detects which input has an active video signal, and switches to that input; if both inputs are active, the "last in" is selected. Additional contact closure inputs on the rear of the unit allow for third-party control. RS-232 control of the AS-1H1V-WP can be accomplished by connecting to the RS-232 port on a compatible receiver, such as a DIGI-HD60C-R, or through a direct connection on the RS-232 input of the device. The AS-1H1V-WP can be programmed to control the connected display. The display manufacturer's RS-232 commands can be entered into the AS-1H1V-WP via Intelix Display Control software, allowing display power and input to be automatically controlled based on video activity and eliminating the need for a third-party control system in many installations. - HDMI (video and audio) and VGA video plus 3.5mm stereo audio inputs
