Product description The Gigabit Ethernet to SFP Media Converter from Intellinet lets you convert a Gigabit Ethernet connection to a fiber one for faster speeds and farther connections between networking devices, up to 300' (100 m). This makes it ideal for building-to-building connectivity without the need for additional routers. It supports 1000Base-T connections and requires a Cat5e cable or better for optimal performance. Furthermore, LED indicators on the device lets your monitor its connectivity. You can use this converter as a stand-alone unit or with an optional 14-slot Intellinet media converter chassis. -
- Data transfer rate of up to 1000 Mbps
- 10/100/1000Base-TX auto-sensing RJ45 port, maximum distance of 300' (100 m) (Cat5e and better)
- RJ45 port with Auto MDI/MDI-X support
- SFP (Small Form Factor Pluggable) optical transceiver module port (SFP module not included)
- Module port for Gigabit multimode or single-mode Mini GBIC 1.25G SFP-type fiber modules
- Status LEDs for power and Link/TX for both ports
