Product description With a 2000W tungsten equivalent, while drawing just 200W and running cool to the touch, the Super-Nova 1x1 60-Degree Daylight Panel from Intellytech is a good choice to replace legacy fixtures. Its 60-degree beam angle offers wide coverage with a soft edge thanks to the included diffuser, and can be controlled and directed by the included 4-way barn doors. The Super-Nova's 2304 LEDs have a high TLCI/CRI rating of 95/95, indicating an accurate rendition of color, while they can be dimmed from 0-100% without noticeable flicker. The fixture is only 2" thick allowing it to be squeezed into tight spaces, and since it runs cool to the touch there's no danger of damage to the set or discomfort of the talent. The sturdy metal housing has an easy-to-read LCD display and a yoke with 5/8" receiver that can be removed for hand holding. The Super-Nova 1x1 runs on AC current, thanks to the included adapter or on battery power when shooting on location without access to mains power. The Super-Nova comes with a carry case for storage and transport. - Power Output
- The Super-Nova is a 1x1 panel capable of reaching a 200W output. The raw power can replace 2000W hot lights while remaining completely cool to the touch. Shooters can now have a portable light panel that will have the ability to compete with the sun.
- Light Quality
- Not only is the Super-Nova bright, but it also creates the very even and attractive quality of light required by professionals. The CRI and TLCI levels are above a rating of 94.
- Strong and Lightweight Metal Frame
- The metal body housing is made using strong, lightweight, sleek aluminum. Like all Intellytech panels, the robust metal housing is made to last for years of use, even from the most demanding professionals.
- Convenient and Easy-To-Use Design
- All of the panels are made to alter quickly while on set. The included diffusion or optional softbox can simply slide in and out via the built-in slot. The included barn-doors can be installed or removed in seconds by hand without and tools. The tilter bracket allows for a full tilt of the light in any direction
- LCD Display
- The Super-Nova has an LCD display built-in to the rear of the panel displaying your brightness level from 0-255. The brightness can be adjusted in increments of one giving the user precise control over light intensity.
- Ghosting Problem Eliminated
- Because the Super-Nova (and standard Novas) have 2304 miniature LEDs that are packed together without any distance between each-other, the ghosting (shadow) problem seen from other brand's LED panels is virtually non-existent.
- Power and Battery Options
- Like all Intellytech panels, an AC Adapter is included. This AC Adapter comes with a metal bracket which connects to a gold mount on the back of the panel. It is important to note that this Gold mount is not for battery power, but instead to mount the AC Adapter.
