Product description Interfit Unleashes Compact 320Ws Honey Badger Studio Strobe Read More - Teaser Commercial for the NEW Interfit Honey Badger
Name after a small ferocious animal with a deceptively wholesome name, the Honey Badger 320Ws Compact Flash Head from Interfit has a space-efficient 5 x 5 x 6" form factor, weighs just 3 lb, and contains some impressive features. The light boasts a 7-stop flash power range that can be adjusted in 1/10 stop increments and a 60W LED modeling lamp that is the equivalent of 300 tungsten watts and can be used manually or set to output proportionate to the flash intensity. The modeling lamp has a 5600K color temperature and is flicker-free for use as a video light. Recycle time is a fast 1 second at full power and a fraction of that at lower power. Flash durations are correspondingly short - as quick as 1/900 second (t.1) for freezing action at peak moments. The Honey Badger has a built-in wireless receiver that accepts signals from a separately purchased S1 manual or TTL transmitters that can not only wirelessly trigger the flash, but control power level, modeling light, and the beep indicator for full recycling. The light has a Bowens S-Type front accessory mount making it compatible with the many manufacturers that produce products with this mount. The Honey Badger also has a built-in pop-up softbox ring that makes for very fast setup with the included 24 x 24" softbox. Lightweight with a small form factor and impressive performance, the Honey Badger is hard to beat. - Compact Form Factor
- Size and weight matter to the mobile photographer. The Honey Badger weighs 3 lb, measures 5" wide (6" including the outer ring), and 6" deep from the rear control panel to the edge of the protective cap. The robust and compact housing makes the Honey Badger the ideal solution for photographers on the move.
- Extended Power Range
- The Honey Badger has an impressive 7-stop power range, two more stops than many studio flash heads. Power can be adjusted from 320Ws down to 5Ws in 1/10th stop increments for precise exposure.
- Fast Recycle Time
- At full power, the Honey Badger recycles in just 1 second. Recycle times get even shorter as you decrease flash power.
- Short Flash Duration
- Short flash durations give you the ability to freeze motion beyond the capabilities of the shutter sync speed. At full power, the Honey Badger has a t.1 flash duration of 1/900.
- 60W LED Modeling Lamp
- The Honey Badger is equipped with a 60W LED modeling lamp with the equivalent light output of a 300W tungsten lamp. This flicker-free LED can be used as a continuous light source for both photo and video purposes. The modeling lamp can be set to adjust proportionately to the flash power, or to full power. The color temperature was intentionally set to 5600K (daylight), to accurately portray the color rendition of the flash's output.
- Versatile Modifier Mount
- A convenient feature of the Honey Badger is the versatile modifier mount. The Honey Badger utilizes the popular Bowens S-Type modifier mount, making it compatible with the same modifiers as the S1. The Honey Badger also features a built-in pop-up softbox ring for use with pop-up style softboxes that are popular with speedlight shooters.
- Included Pop-Up Softbox
- Every Honey Badger includes a 24 x 24" pop-up softbox with an inner and outer diffuser. This style of softbox does not require an elaborate setup and folds away quickly and compactly.
- Glass Dome Diffuser
- The Honey Badger includes a frosted glass dome diffuser. This protects the flash tube and helps to spread light evenly throughout the modifier.
