Product description The 60" Translucent White and Silver Convertible Umbrella from Interfit is a light modifier that spreads the light's beam and increases coverage while it lowers contrast. The umbrella has a black backing and a silver interior for maximum output under a white translucent base. The translucent material smoothes out the specularity of the silver while it renders the output in neutral tones A handy aspect of this type of umbrella is the ability to bounce the light in the traditional way or remove the black backing and silver interior to "shoot through" the translucent material by aiming the convex side at the subject as you would a softbox. This size has a special wrap-around quality of light which is especially evident when used close to the subject. It's well suited for fashion, full length portraiture and large groups or objects.
