Product description Multi-Monitors: Maximizing Multitasking Read More teyqedvqxx The 16-Port PS/2 USB Combo KVM Switch Kit with Sixteen KVM Cables from IOGEAR makes connecting a single console to myriad computers extremely easy. In addition to the switch, you will receive as part of the kit six 6-foot USB KVM cables, six 10-foot USB KVM cables, two 6-foot PS/2 KVM cables, and two 10-foot PS/2 KVM cables. These cables allow you to connect the switch with computers that rely upon the VGA interface and either PS/2 or USB ports for mouse and keyboard connections.
This switch fits into a 1U rack mount and can directly connect up to sixteen different computers. However, if you utilize the 2-level cascade setup, you can connect up to sixteen switches and manage up to 256 computers. The streamlined form factor allows the switch to be quickly mounted to a 1U system rack. Whether you have a small handful of computers or a myriad, this switch and the cable kit with it provide simple, powerful, and efficient management. - The switch is compatible with Windows, Mac, Sun Solaris, Linux 1
Please Note: IOGEAR's Display Emulation Technology provides the DDC support for Windows 7 close - The switch is easy to operate, as you can select between computers via the front panel LED's or the intuitive OSD (on screen display), or with HotKeys
- The switch supports cascading for up to 2 levels, so that you can control up to 256 computers from a single console
- For security, the switch features 2-level password protection for OSD
- The switch supports a maximum video resolution of 2048 x 1536 resolution
- There is a front USB port that permits system upgrades and shared peripherals. Fully compliant with USB 1.1 2
Please Note: Only systems connected with the USB KVM cables will be able to access the front USB port for system upgrades and shared peripherals close - The switch is rack mountable in a 19" (1U) system rack
- Custom ASIC provides an auto-sensing function that recognizes the position of each station on the installation
