Product description Multi-Monitors: Maximizing Multitasking Read More vwreuseavvwfxuyuaybrzd The Iogear 16-Port USB PS/2 Combo KVM Switch with Cables connects a single workstation to 16 servers, and utilizing a 2-level cascade setup, you can manage up to 256 computers using a single keyboard, mouse, and monitor.
For security purposes, a 2 level password protection for OSD is available. It offers a maximum resolution up to 2048 x 1536. Custom ASIC (patent pending) provides an auto-sensing function that recognizes the position of each station on the installation, eliminating the need to manually set the position with DIP switches. Instead of the usual 25-pin connectors, this KVM switch uses a high density SPHD 15-pin connector that allows for a compact design and makes it rack mountable in a 19” (48.26 cm) 1U system rack. With a USB port on the front panel, it also offers support for PS/2 connection.
You can easily switch between computers by manually pressing the front panel push button port LEDs, entering hotkey combinations from the keyboard, or via a menu driven multilingual on-screen display (OSD) system. The auto-scan feature permits automatic scanning and monitoring of all connected activities. Along with the DDC2B support, a multi-OS platform support including Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X, Sun Solaris, and Linux is available.
