Product description Add a multi-slot card reader and writer to your USB Type-C compatible system, such as the MacBook or Chromebook using the 3-Slot USB 3.0 Type-C Card Reader from IOGEAR. This device connects to your system using an integrated USB Type-C cable and supports SD and SDHC cards, SDXC cards up to 2TB, CompactFlash cards, high-speed CompactFlash cards (DUMA), microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC cards. When working with SD, SDHC, and SDXC media, each of these cards is supported in UHS-I mode up to 104 MB/s.
This reader/writer has native support for USB 3.0 and is also compatible with USB 2.0. Its reversible USB Type-C interface allows the connector to be inserted into your system regardless of whether it is oriented right-side up or upside down. It is bus powered via its USB connection and requires no external power, is hot-swappable, compact, is plug-and-play compatible, and supports both Windows and Mac operating systems.
