Product description The IOGEAR 8-Port LCD Combo KVM Switch with USB KVM Cables comes with eight KVM ports as well as an integrated 17" TFT display, keyboard, and touchpad so you can easily operate up to eight Windows, Mac, Sun, and Linux systems. This switch includes two sets of eight each 6' and 10' USB KVM cables. Each of the custom cables has a 15-pin KVM connector, as well as a set of interfaces that connect to your computer's USB port and VGA port.
The 1 RU switch features a convenient slide/retractable design that can be mounted onto a rack system. The 17" monitor offers a screen resolution of 1280 x 1024 and folds down over the keyboard and touchpad when not in use. For easy management, you can quickly switch between computers utilizing either LED push buttons located on the front panel or hotkey commands. The switch supports DDC emulation which automatically adjusts each computer's video setting for optimal output to the 17" monitor. In addition, an intuitive on-screen display (OSD) offers two-level password protection for enhanced security.
IOGEAR lets you expand the switch's capabilities by offering a console port which connects to an optional external monitor, keyboard, and mouse. - Up to eight additional compatible KVM switches can be cascaded together, controlling a maximum of 128 computers from a single KVM console
- Equipped with a USB-PS/2 console port on the rear panel that allows the KVM switch to be controlled from an external console (monitor, keyboard, and mouse)
- Includes one console cable, one cascade cable, and eight KVM cables, which provide VGA and USB connectors
- Front panel push button LEDs, an intuitive OSD (On-Screen Display), and the hotkeys enable quick and easy access to a given computer
- OSD comes with two-level password protection for enhanced security
- Depth can be easily adjusted, allowing you to fit racks of different sizes
