Product description Multi-Monitors: Maximizing Multitasking Read More This 8-Port USB PS/2 Combo KVM Switch Kit from Iogear makes connecting a single console to multiple computers extremely easy. In addition to the 8-port switch, you will receive as part of the kit four 6-foot USB KVM cables, four 10-foot USB KVM cables, and one 6-foot PS/2 KVM cable. These cables allow you to connect the switch with computers that rely upon the VGA interface and either PS/2 or USB ports for mouse and keyboard connections.
The switch has eight HD-15 connectors for connecting up to eight computers. However, if you utilize the 2-level cascade setup, you can connect up to sixteen switches and manage up to 128 computers. If you cascade on only one level, you can connect up to 8 switches and manage up to 64 computers using a single keyboard, mouse, and monitor.
The streamlined form-factor allows the switch to be quickly mounted to a 1U system rack. Whether you have a small handful of computers or a myriad, this switch and the cable kit with it provide simple, powerful and efficient management. - Compatible with Windows, Mac, Sun Solaris and Linux
