The GUB212 2-Port USB 2.0 Peripheral Sharing Switch from IOGEAR solves the problem as it comes equipped with two USB type B ports to connect two computers to the switch and one USB type A port to plug in your USB peripheral device. Once plugged in you can choose which computer will have access to the USB device using dedicated buttons located on the top of the switch. Additionally, the GUB212 supports USB 2.0 connectivity allowing for a maximum data transfer rate of up to 480 Mbps. - Enables two computers to share the use of a single USB peripheral device (such as printer, scanner, mass storage drive, etc.)
