Product description The Kaliber Gaming MECHLITE Mechanical Keyboard from IOGEAR features Outemu Brown switches for a responsive typing experience. Tailored for gamers, it has blue LED backlighting with six different lighting patterns, anti-ghosting technology, and five programmable macro keys. With macro functionality, you can easily activate complicated multi-key commands using a single press. Moreover, this keyboard can be used with the optional Keymander adapter for keyboard and mouse accuracy on popular game consoles. - Outemu Brown Switches
- Mechanical keyboards utilize a different type of key switch technology for a more durable and unique typing experience. The Outemu Brown switch has an actuation force of 40g and offers a small tactile bump when pressed, letting you know that the key has registered. This can be useful for typing or preparing for a movement while gaming. Unlike Blue switches, these do not have an audible "click" mechanism, allowing for a quieter operation. Noise generated from this keyboard will be from the key either springing back into place or "bottoming out"—making contact with the back plate after a particularly hard press.
- Anti-Ghosting, NKRO Keys
- Anti-ghosting keys, or NKRO (N-Key Rollover), ensures that every key you press will be correctly and accurately registered, regardless of how complicated your command may be.
- Macro Keys
- There are five programmable buttons (YUIOP) you can use for macro commands. Use them for everything from simple text shortcuts to complicated multi-key commands.
- Double-Injected Keycaps
- The double-injected keycaps provide you with durable lettering so the characters on each key won't wear out.
- Premium Gaming Features
- To assist you with your gaming, this keyboard has a Windows key lock function to prevent accidental minimizing, and an All-Key lock that prevents unwanted presses when you're not at your desk. Moreover, left-handed players can swap the WASD functions with the arrow keys for an optimal gaming position.
- LED Backlighting
- This keyboard is outfitted with blue LED backlighting. It also has six lighting modes so you can find a pattern that suits you best.
- Keymander Compatible
- With the optional Keymander adapter, you can use a mouse and keyboard with your gaming console including the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, or Xbox 360.
