Product description Get connectivity back on your Thunderbolt 3-equipped laptop with the Thunderbolt 3 Dock Pro with Dual 4K Video Kit from IOGEAR. This kit includes an 8-port Thunderbolt 3 dock and a USB Type-C to HDMI 2.0 cable. Its eight ports consist of: two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port, one Thunderbolt 3 port, one DisplayPort 1.2, one 3.5 mm audio-in, one 3.5 mm audio-out, and one Gigabit Ethernet jack. After connecting it your system via Thunderbolt 3, you'll be able to simultaneously charge, transfer data, connect an external display, and more. When only using the DisplayPort output, it can support a single 5K display; however, by using the included cable as well, you'll be able to connect two 4K displays. - Thunderbolt 3
- Thunderbolt 3 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB Type-C connector. Doubling the speed of its predecessor, Thunderbolt 3 features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB 3.1 at up to 10 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.2 allows you to connect up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 3 port.
