Product description The 33' USB 3.0 BoostLinq Extension Cable from Iogear uses active electronics to amplify the USB signal, providing USB 3.0 SuperSpeed data transfers over an extended distance with no loss of data integrity or signal quality. The cable has a USB type A male and type A female connector. The USB type A connector is the rectangular-shaped plug found on PCs, hubs, and other host interfaces. The cable extends from the host computer and provides another female type A connector up to 16.4' away. It is suitable for applications that require distance between a user and the peripheral, but still need the data transfer speeds of USB 3.0 for devices such as webcams, hard drives, printers, smart boards, and the like. You can also daisy-chain a maximum of five cables together in order to reach up to a total of 165' of USB 3.0 SuperSpeed connection. - USB 3.0 SuperSpeed device connection extends up to 33'
