Product description Transform your Thunderbolt 3 or USB Type-C laptop into a dual display workstation equipped with up to two DisplayPort monitors using the USB 3.1 Type-C to Dual DisplayPort Dock from IOGear. This dock connects to your host system using an included USB 3.1 Type-C cable, is equipped with two DisplayPort 1.2/1.1a outputs that support either one 4K Ultra HD (UHD) display at resolutions up to 3840 x 2160, or two Full HD displays at resolutions up to 1920 x 1080, and operates using bus power. Please bear in mind that mirroring or extending your laptop to two displays is only supported under Windows. When using a Mac, you'll only be able to extend your display to one additional monitor.
So that additional peripherals, such as external storage, optical drives, printers, memory card readers, keyboards, mice, and more may be utilized, IOGear has also equipped this dock with a USB 3.0 Type-A port. Furthermore, DisplayPort 1.2 with MST+HBR2 support from the GPU is required for video output under extended mode, and DVI and HDMI pass-through must be supported on the video card or video source for DisplayPort to DVI/HDMI video adapter support.
