Product description Dock up to 10 devices and charge your laptop and other peripherals using 100W of pass-through power with the USB Type-C Docking Station with Power Delivery 3.0 from IOGEAR. This dock connects to your host system using an integrated USB Type-C cable and features one USB Type-C charging port, one USB Type-C data port, three USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one of which supports BC 1.2 charging at 1.5A, one HDMI 1.4 port, one mini DisplayPort 1.2 port, one VGA port, Gigabit Ethernet port, a 3.5mm headphone/microphone combo jack, an SDXC/MMC card reader, and a microSDXC card reader. Both card readers transfer data at UHS-I speeds of up to 104 MB/s.
Both the HDMI 1.4 and miniDisplayPort 1.2 outputs support Ultra HD resolutions of up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz, while the VGA port supports resolutions of up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz. Using these ports, one display can be added to your system at the supported resolution of each port. Or, if you'd like to add a second display, this can be done using the HDMI and mini DisplayPort at resolutions up to 1920 x 1080. While Windows supports extended desktop mode with dual displays, Macs only support mirrored mode with dual displays and extended mode with one display.
While, IOGEAR's USB Type-C Docking Station is bus-powered through your system's USB Type-C port, it requires your manufacturer's USB Type-C power adapter to be connected to its USB Type-C power port to drive your laptop. 100W of pass-through power is available and the dock requires 15W, leaving 85W to power your host system. If your AC adapter is less than 100W, then available power will be 15W less than its maximum. Protection is provided by a limited 1-year warranty. General Features - Dock It and Charge It
- Dock and charge up your laptop or tablet through the docking station via your manufacturer's USB Type-C AC power adapter and charge a USB device through the BC 1.2 port while you work or play with up to 100W of power delivery pass-through. The dock passes a maximum of 85W of power to charge laptops and tablets as it utilizes 15W of power to operate when connected to laptops and tablets. This bus-powered dock is powered through the laptop's USB Type-C port, connecting all your devices without requiring a separate power supply.

- With Fast Role Swap, a feature in the USB Power Delivery 3.0 specification, the dock will maintain power levels anytime it detects a drop below a set threshold, such as while unplugging the laptop or tablet's USB Type-C power adapter from the dock or during an unexpected loss of building power. This feature provides for a safer operation of connected devices while helping to ensure your work does not get interrupted during power changes.

- Enhance your work visually by adding a single 4K monitor or dual monitors at HD resolutions. This IOGEAR Dock offers high-quality image resolutions and enhanced versatility for connections to a VGA, HDMI, or Mini DisplayPort monitors. Dock a single VGA monitor for HD resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz and a single HDMI or mini DisplayPort monitor for 4K resolutions to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz. Add two monitors via HDMI and Mini DisplayPort for dual HD resolutions to 1920 x 1080.

- Power Delivery 3.0
- Power Delivery 3.0 pass-through offers up to 100W of charging power utilizing the laptop's USB Type-C power adapter. A USB Type-C power adapter not included.
- Pass-Through Power
- A maximum of up to 85W of power can be delivered to the laptop after deduction of 15W used by the docking station. Pass-through power delivered to the laptop is dependent upon the capacity of your USB Type-C power supply. For example, if your USB Type-C power supply is 60W, then the maximum power can be delivered to the laptop is 60W-15W = 45W.
System Requirements - USB Type-C-compatible system with DP Alt-Mode support.
- The USB Type-C AC adapter from your laptop is required for Power Delivery Pass-Through functionality.
- When the VGA output is utilized, only one additional extended desktop will be available.
- For Windows, dual-screen extended desktop mode can only be configured though both HDMI and mini DisplayPort outputs.
- For Mac, dual-screen mode only operates in mirror mode via HDMI and mini DisplayPort.
