Product description Create a dual HDMI monitor setup and connect other compatible USB Type-A peripherals to your Thunderbolt 3 or USB Type-C notebook using USB Type-C Dual HD Portable Dock from IOGEAR. This dock is equipped with dual HDMI ports that support one 4K display (4096 x 2160 at 30 Hz) or dual Full HD (1920 x 1080) displays. When using dual Full HD displays, users will be able to mirror or extend the display of their notebook, and their notebook's display can be utilized as a third display for separate task windows. In addition, carrying video signals, the HDMI ports also transmit HD audio.
Aside from the HDMI ports, the USB Type-C Dual HD Portable Dock features one USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A port. Also known as USB 3.0, this port can be used to interface with peripherals such as keyboards, mice, hard drive, printers, memory card readers, and more. LED indicators will also alert users to power and connectivity issues with the dock. A white LED means the monitor and USB Type-C connection are working well, while an orange one means the USB Type-C cable doesn't have enough bus power to run the USB Type-A device. If the orange LED comes on, simply plug in the power adapter of any external devices.
This dock connects to your host system using an included 3.3' USB Type-C cable, which folds into the dock when not in use. Please be aware that monitor extending (MST) is only supported in Windows. macOS does not support monitor extending and only operates in mirror mode. When using a Windows USB Type-C laptop with two other monitors, your laptop screen can be utilized as a third monitor for separate task windows. Please be aware that macOS does not support monitor extending (MST) and only operates in mirror mode.

- Experience the visuals of 4K at four times the resolution of standard HD. The Portable Dock's dual monitor functionality supports sharp, clear resolutions of up to 4096 x 2160 # 30 Hz for a higher level of enjoyment while streaming movies, playing video games, or working and creating from your office. 4K resolution is only supported using a single display, while dual displays support 1920 x 1080.
