Product description Turn your USB Type-C or Thunderbolt 3 laptop into a full-fledged workstation using the USB Type-C Triple Video Docking Station with 60W Power Delivery from IOGEAR. Equipped with 11 port options, this dock allows users to add displays, external hard drives, optical drives, printers, memory cards, network connectivity, speakers, keyboards, mice, and more to their system using an included and detachable 3.3' USB Type-C cable.
This docking station connects to your host system using its USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port, which provides up to 60W of pass-through power. It features one USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one of which supports BC 1.2 fast charging, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, two DisplayPort 1.2 outputs that support resolutions of up to 4096 x 2160, one HDMI port that supports resolutions of up to 3840 x 2160, one Gigabit Ethernet port, one 3.5mm line input, and one 3.5mm line output. If your system supports DP Alt mode, all three video outputs can be simultaneously used to drive one 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz display. Furthermore, Windows notebooks can also use the integrated panel as a fourth display for separate tasks. Other monitor configurations are also available, and there is also support for laptops without DP Alt mode, as well as support for extending and mirroring additional displays.
IOGEAR's USB Type-C Triple Video Docking Station is compatible with systems running Mac OS X 10.7 and later and Windows 10, 8.1, 8, and 7. Included is a 120W AC adapter and protection is provided by a limited 1-year warranty. General Features - Triple 4K Ultra HD Monitor Setup

Attach dual 4K UHD DisplayPort screens and add a third 4K UHD HDMI display for sharp, clear images and video quality at resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz across all three screens. to expand your visual workspace.
Please be aware that to use three displays, a DisplayLink driver is required, which is not supported on macOS 10.13.4 and above. - Mirror Or Extend Your Monitors
- Expand your productivity by connecting additional monitors to your notebook. Mirror or extend your Windows-based USB Type-C laptop to accommodate up to three displays or mirror your USB Type-C or Thunderbolt 3 MacBook to one extra monitor. When using a Windows USB Type-C notebook with three monitors, use your notebook screen as a fourth monitor for separate tasks.
Please note that Macs do not support monitor extending (MST) and can only operate in mirror mode. - Charge While Docked
- Charge up your laptop through the dock via the included power adapter and charge a connected USB Type-A device that requires more than 0.9A of power through the BC 1.2 port. Up to 60W of power is passed through to charge your laptop.
Please be aware that not all USB Type-C laptops can charge through their USB Type-C port. Display Options with USB Type-C & DP Alt Mode - One Display
- One display is supported using either of the DisplayPort outputs or the HDMI output. Using DisplayPort, resolutions are supported up to 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz and using the HDMI port, resolutions are supported up to 3840 x 2160.
- Dual Displays
- Dual displays are supported using both DisplayPort outputs, or by using either of the DisplayPort outputs with the HDMI port. When using both DisplayPort outputs, resolutions are supported up to 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz. When combining one DisplayPort with the HDMI port, the DisplayPort will support a max resolution of 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz, while the HDMI port supports a max resolution of 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz.
- Three Displays
- When simultaneously using both DisplayPort outputs and the HDMI port, three independent displays are supported at resolutions up to 3840 x 2160. The DisplayPort outputs support 60 Hz, while the HDMI port supports 30 Hz.
Display Options with USB Type-C (No DP Alt Mode) - One Display
- One display is supported using either of the DisplayPort outputs or the HDMI port at resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz.
- Dual Displays
- Dual displays are supported using the two DisplayPort outputs, or by using one of the DisplayPort outputs with the HDMI port. Both configurations support resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz.
System Requirements - USB Type-C / Thunderbolt 3 device with DP Alt mode support.
- USB Type-C devices that don't support DP Alt mode can only support up to two monitors.
- The host computer's USB Type-C port must support USB Power Delivery 2.0 for charging functionality.
- For Mac users running macOS 10.13.4 and above, there is a DisplayLink compatibility issue where the connected DisplayLink displays becomes blank. Please check with DisplayLink for update information and workaround solutions.
