Product description The SmartEQ Pro Equatorial Mount Kit with Hard Case from iOptron features the SmartEQ Pro mount, the Go2Nova 8408 computer hand controller, an adjustable stainless steel tripod, a polar aligning scope, and a hard carrying case for the mount. The mount is compatible with any optical tube assembly (OTA) with a Vixen-type dovetail saddle. The mount is powered by eight AA batteries and can run for up to 16 hours of continuous viewing, whether you're stargazing in the backyard or far off the grid.The dual-axis servomotor is controlled by the Go2Nova 8408 hand controller. This system has an internal database of 59,000+ celestial objects, with 60 user-defined objects to program yourself. The hand controller has updatable firmware through the built-in serial port. With nine slew speeds and automatic tracking capabilities, finding and keeping objects centered in the field of view is easy no matter whether you're viewing the fast-moving Moon or much slower deep-space subjects. An adjustable stainless steel tripod is included for the mount and your telescope as well as a hard carrying case designed to hold and protect the Equatorial mount. - Equatorial Mount
