Product description A Guide to Birding with Spotting Scopes Read More iOptron's black Smartphone Eyepiece Adaptor allows you to mount most smartphones on any telescope to display and save astroimages or video. This is ideal for star-parties or children who are unable to properly adjust the telescope's focus. The aluminum bracket adjusts to hold most smartphones and to place the included 12.5mm Plossl eyepiece directly over the device's camera. With the smartphone properly set in the adapter, insert the 1.25" eyepiece into the telescope and open the phone's camera app. Focus, display, save and share images without any other special equipment or accessories. This adapter will work equally well for terrestrial observation or with spotting scopes that accept 1.25" eyepieces. - Use and Handling
