Product description The 3TB Solo G3 USB 3.0 External Hard Drive from ioSafe is a safe and advanced fireproof, waterproof external 3TB 3.5" SATA hard drive. It delivers data protection for your digital life, such as your memories, media, and documents. This drive is rated to survive in fires up to 30 minutes long and submersed in up to 10' of water for 72 hours. The Solo G3 features fanless FloSafe Vent technology for near silent operation, which is suitable for sensitive ears at home, office, or studio. For power, an external AC power adapter is included. Furthermore, it comes out of the box ready to connect with your Windows system via a USB 3.0 interface. - Fireproof
- DataCast endothermic fire insulation technology protects your data from extreme heat up to 1550°F (843.3°C) for 30 Minutes. The DataCast formulation forms a chemical bond with water molecules that, at temperatures above 160°F (71.1°C), releases water vapor to limit the internal temperature of the unit during a fire.
- Waterproof
- HydroSafe water barrier technology protects data loss from fresh or salt-water damage up to 10' (3.04m) for 72 Hours, including full immersion. While keeping your data dry, the HydroSafe technology still allows heat to dissipate during normal operation.
- Theftproof
- A Kensington lock slot is compatible with all Kensington locks. The built-in anti-theft tab allows you to easily secure the Solo G3 Hard Drive to any surface and keeps your data protected in the event of a break in. Securing the drive also prevents the drive from moving during a disaster.
- Fanless, Near Silent Cooling
- The FloSafe airflow cooling technology is designed for near silent operation. If destructive heat levels are sensed, such as during a fire, the FloSafe vents limit and protect your data from extreme heat.
- 1 Year Data Recovery Service
- The Data Recovery Service (DRS) provides a one-time use, no questions asked data and hardware recovery service.
- USB 3.0
- Plug-and-play USB 3.0 connectivity is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices and allows you to use your Solo G3 Hard Drive with virtually any Mac or PC. It provides data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbps.
