Product description Expand the overall storage capacity ioSafe's 1517 5-Bay NAS Array using the ioSafe x517 5-Bay Expansion Chassis. Much like the 1517, the x517 is fireproof up to 1550°F for up to 30 minutes andalso protects data while fully submerged in up to 10' of fresh or salt water for up to 72 hours. The x517 supports 2.5" and 3.5" SATA drives, features, hot-swappable drive bays, and connects to your 1517 using an integrated eSATA port.
