Product description Mount your phone with just a tap with the iOttie iTap Magnetic Car Vent Smartphone Mount. This mount employs six rare-earth magnets to hold a smartphone equipped with the included metal plate. This allows you to easily attach your phone by simply placing it against the mount and remove it by pulling it away. The magnets exert a 7 lb pull force to give you a strong grip, and your smartphone can rotate 360° for the best possible viewing angle. Beyond smartphones, the iTap is compatible with most cases as well as GPS devices.
The mount attaches to your vehicle's air vents with two silicone-coated connecting arms, which prevent scratching and damage to the vent while also damping road vibrations. For easy installation and transfer between cars, the iTap uses the One Click system, a spring loaded one-click lock and release feature that also ensures a strong hold on your vent blades. The iTap system includes two metal plates to choose from, one for attaching to the outside of your device or case and one for attaching between your case and your device. - While the magnets should not cause interruption or loss of quality to your smartphone's signal, it may cause some interference to the compass function on select smartphones. If this occurs, please note that the compass will return to normal after removing the smartphone from the mount.
