Product description Mount your phone with just a tap with the iOttie iTap Magnetic Dashboard Smartphone Mount. This mount employs six rare-earth magnets to hold a smartphone equipped with the included metal plate. This allows you to easily attach your phone by simply placing it against the mount and remove it by pulling it away. The magnets exert a six pound pull force to give you a strong grip, and the mount allows your smartphone to rotate 360° for the best possible viewing angle. Beyond smartphones, the iTap is compatible with most cases as well as GPS devices.
The mount attaches to your vehicle with an adhesive film that sticks to your dashboard. A suction cup on the iTap can then be stuck to the film. The iTap system includes two metal plates to choose from, one for attaching to the outside of your device or case and one for attaching between your case and your device. - While the magnets should not cause interruption or loss of quality to your smartphone's signal, it may cause some interference to the compass function on select smartphones. If this occurs, please note that the compass will return to normal after removing the smartphone from the mount.
