Product description Lightweight, battery-powered, and featuring a unique roll-over operation, the red IRIScan Book 5 Scanner from IRIS will allow individuals who are constantly on the move to quickly and easily digitize their documents. Using an 8.5"-wide CIS, users can easily scan documents at resolutions up to 1200 dpi just by sliding the scanner over the pages. This design makes it easier to work with books, magazines, and other originals without damaging them. Also, it can work quickly with a color scan speed as fast as 2 seconds for an A4-size document. For adjusting settings there is a clear 1.5" color LCD and the scanner will then save scans directly to a microSD/SDHC card in JPEG and PDF formats. Additionally, it comes with a microSD card, a USB cable for charging and connection to a PC, and a transport pouch.
Bundled with the scanner are the powerful Readiris Pro OCR and IRISCompressor Pro software suites. Readiris lets users convert their scans, documents, and image files into editable files compatible with numerous programs. IRISCompressor will help make sharing, archiving, and indexing easier by effectively shrinking the size of your files. - Available scan resolutions include 300, 600, and 1200 dpi
- Battery life of about 100 A4-size pages in color at 300 dpi

- Scans show up in real time on your computer when wired over USB
