Product description Lightweight at under 1 lb, the IRIScan Express 4 Mobile Scanner is meant to be an ideal companion for users constantly on the move or simply looking to shrink their setup. The small, USB-powered device can handle documents up to letter/A4 size as well as small business cards and receipts, so you can eliminate paper from most of your workflow. Also, it offers both color and black & white scanning at 300, 600, or 1200 dpi. Speed is impressive as well with a maximum scan rate of 8 ppm at 300 dpi.
Making use easier is automatic size detection and cropping, meaning you can just slide in your document without having to dial in specific settings for each scan. The IRIScan Express 4 also has a flip cover that allows for cleaning when needed. In addition to powering the scanner, the USB connection will connect to your computer for advanced scanning options with the included Readiris OCR and Cardiris software.
Readiris OCR will take your JPEG and PDF scans and convert them into editable text documents for use in Word and Excel. Also, it can create searchable PDFs for locating specific phrases and content. The software is integrated with Cloud support and can upload for files directly. Cardiris makes managing your new contact simple with automatic character recognition and the ability to export the information into another manager, such as Outlook, ACT!, and Salesforce.
