Product description Fast, feature-rich, and compact, the high-performing IRIScan Pro 5 Duplex Desktop Scanner from IRIS is meant to be a powerful option that will take up little space on your cramped desk. Able to work with a wide variety of media sizes, including business cards as small as 2 x 2" and legal-sized 8.5 x 14" paper, the 600 dpi IRIScan Pro 5 is an easy choice for nearly any of the most common documents, including invoices, receipts, credit cards, and more. Also, it is extremely fast with a rated speed of up to 23 ppm at 200 dpi and automatic duplexing that reaches 46 ipm. This is possible through the use of a 20-sheet automatic document feeder, which will even support a long page mode for items up to 118" in length. An ultrasonic sensor is present as well to help reduce the chances of double feeds.
On the front control panel of the scanner is a 1" OLED display to help you check status and change settings. Also, it has a Smart task button that can be set up to automatically scan, convert, and output the file exactly as you want, including the ability to save an audio file. The scanner is simple to operate with standard USB 2.0 connectivity and an AC adapter. Bundled with the scanner is a software suite that will dramatically improve functionality. This includes Readiris Corporate OCR that will help organize, convert, edit, and upload your documents to the cloud as well as provide OCR capabilities; Cardiris Corporate that will save business cards and automatically populate your favorite contact management application; and IRIScompressor Pro to reduce file sizes of all your scans. - A Contact Image Sensor (CIS) provides an optical resolution of 600 dpi with a choice of output resolutions between 75-600 dpi for sharp, detailed images.
- Works with media ranging in size from 2 x 2" to 8.5 x 14" as well as long documents up to 118" in length.
- Scan at speeds up to 23 ppm / 46 ipm in black & white at 200 dpi and 17 ppm / 34 ipm in color at 300 dpi.
- The 20-sheet automatic document feeder helps users easily scan batch jobs and multi-page documents. A special card slot is also available for scanning laminated cards.
- Ultrasonic sensor detects double feeds to prevent jams and errors.
- 1" OLED display shows status and a means to change settings directly on the scanner.
- A smart button can be programmed to automatically perform a variety of tasks with a single press of the button. This includes scanning, converting, and archiving or sharing the document.

- Readiris Corporate OCR software helps you convert and share your documents once they are scanned. This includes the ability to convert your documents into audio .wav files that you can listen to and share directly to various cloud services, including Microsoft SharePoint, Therefore, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Salesforce, OneDrive, Google Drive, Box, Evernote, and Dropbox.
- Cardiris Corporate (Windows only) offers advanced business card recognition and organization. The scanner and work with up to 10 cards at once and will export directly to the software. The contacts can then be sorted and exported directly to your chosen contacts management tool, such as Microsoft Outlook, Google Contacts, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and more.
- With IRISCompressor Pro users can create highly compressed PDFs and multi-page PDFs that are up to 20x smaller than standard documents.
