Product description The DAGE312UTL 12-Bay NAS Enclosure form iStar is a trayless rackmount NAS chassis with a 3 RU form factor that is constructed from steel. It supports eight 3.5" SATA III 6 Gb/s, SATA II 3 Gb/s, and SATA 1.5 Gb/s hard drives, allowing users to not only use this not only for the purposes of network attached storage, but also for the creation of a RAID. The DAGE312UTL supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 30, 50, and 60, each of which offers data redundancy, performance, or a combination of both. Also featured are two Ethernet ports, four USB 2.0 ports, one serial port, one VGA port, and four expansion slots. It is kept cool by three 120mm ball bearing fans and also uses LED indicators to help users monitor power and drive activity. The DAGE312UTL operates using an included 500W power supply and also includes a power cord and SATA cables. It is protected by a limited 1-year warranty. - Supports 12 x SATA III 6 Gb/s, SATA II 3 Gb/s, or SATA 1.5 Gb/s hard drives
