Product description The iView 3200STB Digital Converter Box is a multimedia device that converts analog to digital TV. You can record HD programs to watch as many times as you want later. The 3200STB will also convert digital signals to analog television, and supports OTA (Over-the-Air) and QAM tuner. And, it can receive some unencrypted digital cable (also known as "clear") channels so that you can view them on your TV without using any additional decoder or incurring monthly subscription fees.
The 3200STB also features a USB port, where you can plug in a flash drive or an external hard drive with up to 3TB of space. This allows you to record and play back TV or to play your own music, video, or movies. In countries with analog signals, this box will allow you to still watch analog channels through channel 3 or 4, due to its ability to pass the analog signal.
View video in 1080p, 1080i, 720p, or 576p resolution. Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI output to your TV. The iView 3200STB automatically recognizes most popular video or audio file formats eliminating the need to buy any other video player. Additional features include parental control, electronic programming guide, indicator signal quality, subtitles, and a full-function remote control.
The USB port allows you to insert an external hard drive with up to 3TB of storage to record programming or play your movies. Insert an antenna into the antenna input/output so the digital channels you receive are converted to analog television. The newer 3200's do not have the swap button. Sometimes information comes up on the right, if it does at all. How do I get a good description of the program(s) on this device???
