Product description Available for download, iZotope Ozone Elements has been designed to give beginners a simple and effective tool to use when mastering audio in their productions. It utilizes much of the same technology of the well-regarded Ozone bundle, but scales them down for the novice engineer.
Ozone 8 Elements provides the Master Assistant tool, which creates intelligent custom presets suited to your individual mix and to the eventual delivery target (streaming, CD, etc.). Ozone's well-regarded maximizer is on hand for achieving desired level; Threshold learn, Stereo Independence, and two IRC algorithms are included. The imager lets you manipulate the overall stereo width of your master, giving you Stereoize mode for widening monaural elements, an integrated vectorscope, and a correlation meter for learning to identify potential phase issues. As for equalization, surgical mode is offered, as are all the shelves and curves available in Ozone 8. Ozone 8 Elements sports the ability to EQ signal in mid/side mode, so you can cut nasty resonances from the center of the track while the sides of the mix remain relatively unaffected.
Ozone 8 Elements sports many presets divided into genre-specific, artist-signature, and all-purpose categories. Utilitarian tools are also provided such as a comprehensive I/O section, undo history for correcting mistakes, an audition panel, and seamless bypass mode. This plug-in works in VST, AU, RTAS, and AAX formats, and is compatible with Mac and Windows machines.
