Product description The white AM7200/95 High Power Mid-High Frequency Loudspeaker with Rotatable Horn from JBL is comprised of one 8" Cone Midrange Compression Driver (CMCD) and one 1.5" exit 3" voice-coil HF compression driver. The multi-band Progressive Transition (PT) mid-high frequency waveguide provides well-controlled 90° x 50° coverage and is rotatable for cabinet positioning in either a horizontal or vertical orientation. High-slope crossovers minimize band overlap and well-controlled off-axis response enhances arrayability.
The AM7200/95 is part of JBL's AE Application Engineered Series, a versatile family of loudspeakers adding flexibility to a wide variety of fixed installation applications. The cabinet is designed to work with the optional AL7115 single 15" low-frequency module in a low-profile array application where a full-range three-way system is desired.
AE Series mid-high models utilize JBL's CMCD Cone Midrange Compression Driver technology. In addition to providing increased output and lower distortion, this cone-based true compression driver design extends bandwidth (both up and down in frequency) to cover the entire vocal range seamlessly. Additionally featured are injection molded rotatable Progressive Transition waveguides and the 2432H 1.5" exit, 3" diaphragm compression driver.
The cabinet is fitted with M10 threaded suspension points. Pre-engineered array bracketry is available optionally as an additional purchase. The array frame kit can be fitted between two AM7200 mid-high loudspeakers to form a low-profile three-wide array with the optional AL7115 15" low-frequency module.
