Product description The black JBL MTC-81BB8 is a pre-install, in-ceiling backcan designed for the JBL 8138 8" ceiling speaker and the JBL MTC-81TB8 tile bridge. It has an industry-standard 11.25" mounting circle, and an extra-large volume to provide additional bass range. It has five conduit knockouts for simplified cabling, and has the ability to nest during storage to minimize space requirements. Bend-up mounting straps contribute to easy installation. The MTC-81BB8 is made of sturdy steel finished in a rust-resistant powder coat. - Designed to house a JBL 8138 in-ceiling speaker on an MTC-81TB8 tile bridge (both available separately)
