Product description The JBL MTC-81TB8 is a tile bridge designed for use with an MTC-81BB8 pre-install backcan to allow easy installation of a JBL 8138 8" speaker in a ceiling. It fits 24" and 23.6" tile grids. The bridge eliminates ceiling tile sag by evenly distributing the speaker's weight to the ceiling's support system. It is constructed from rust-resistant steel and has an e-coated finish for a long service life. - Designed for use with the JBL 8138 speaker and MTC-81BB8 backcan (both available separately) for in-ceiling mounting
- Load-bearing design distributes weight to eliminate ceiling tile sag
- Rust-resistant, 19-gauge steel construction with e-coated finish for a long service life
- Fits 23.6" and 24" ceiling tile grids
- Four thru-holes for attaching screws to backcan
- Four holes with clip nuts for speaker attachment screws
