Product description The white PD5200/43 Precision Directivity Full-Range 2-Way Loudspeaker from JBL offers a coverage pattern of 40° x 30° and is designed for use in venues requiring high output capability and pattern control. The cone mid-range compression driver consists of a driver/phasing plug assembly to provide high output with low distortion. The driver's extended response is designed for smoother transitions to the high frequency driver and the small entrance diameter into the waveguide provides for patter control. The large format high frequency compression driver utilizes a neodymium magnet and aluminum diaphragm to deliver clear and intelligible high frequency projection, extended frequency response, and low distortion, even at high drive levels.
The Progressive Transition waveguides work to achieve an optimum balance of controlled coverage with low distortion, smooth frequency response, and natural sound character. The mid and high frequency horns are rotatable for cabinet positioning in vertical or horizontal orientation. High-slope crossovers minimize band overlap and the off-axis response can be well-controlled for enhancing arrayability. The cabinet is fitted with twenty M10 threaded suspension points for a variety of installation opportunities. - Cone Midrange Compression Driver provides sensitivity and continuous SPL capability along with low distortion, extended bandwidth, and phase coherence
