Product description The Interchange LTD Intercom Phone Bridge + Digital Hybrid Interface from JK-Audio is a 1 RU rackmount device that allows remote access to your party-line intercom system and includes a digital hybrid for connection to analog POTS (plain old telephone service) phone lines. The front panel headset interface jack can be used to allow connection to your wireless phone, tablet, or computer.Featuring male and female 3-pin XLR intercom loop jacks, and 3-pin XLR 4-wire jacks, the Intercom LTD phone bridge is built with front panel level controls and channel select options, and has send and receive LED metering. In addition, the digital hybrid 16-bit DSP technology continuously monitors both the phone line and audio signals without the transmit/receive crosstalk common to analog hybrids.Additionally, other features of the Interchange LTD include auto answer, listen always, talk when talk-enabled, send and caller signal-level LEDs, and a DTMF keypad redial option. Finally, the Interchange LTD is designed to allow remote access to your party-line intercom system. - Listen-Always Design
- The listen-always design allows for both the phone hybrid and the mobile phone headset interface to monitor the intercom, just like any other belt pack. Listen mode is a high impedance bridging tap on the intercom line. Talk mode is enabled via a front panel switch, either Off, On, or Auto. Auto follows the phone hybrid auto-answer mode.
- Digital Hybrid
- The internal digital hybrid connects intercom audio to a standard analog telephone line without the transmit/receive crosstalk common to analog hybrids. Its DSP continuously monitors both the phone line and audio signals to deliver separation. This proprietary, dual-convergence echo canceller algorithm can achieve separation up to 50 dB, without any setup and without sending a noise burst down the line.
