Product description Designed to block stray peripheral light from entering the open-truss optical tube of 16" Meade LightBridge or similarly-sized Dobsonian telescopes, JMI's Light Shroud is made of a stretch-fit cotton and elastic material that fits snugly to the optical tube and is equipped with touch-fastener tabs to secure it firmly in place. With the Light Shroud installed, not only is stray light eliminated from the optical path for brighter and clearer views, it also has the added benefit of helping to keep dust and debris off the large primary mirror while also keeping dew and moisture out.
