Product description Provided by third party: The BlueStor 5 Slot x8 PCIe Extender is an ideal solution for adding multiple PCIe peripherals to your existing system.
The Enterprise-class 5 Slot x8 PCIe Extender features four high-velocity hot-swappable cooling fans, 1200W universal input power supply, an external PCIe connector for cable connection to a PCIe X8 host controller and a 5-slot PCI Express (PCIe) backplane providing expansion ports for any compatible user-installed PCIe cards. The five PCIe slots are x8 electrical and x16 physical PCIe 2.0 slots.
The five PCIe x16 slots (x8 electrically) are all full-length, full-height and double spaced to accommodate double-wide GPUs and other peripherals normally occupying the space of two slots, and may be used for any PCIe compatible cards including GPUs, capture cards, HBAs, RAID controllers, NICs and other devices. The BlueStor 5 Slot x8 PCIe Extender essentially extends your host server's PCI Express bus outside the server, providing additional slots for any application.
