Product description RAID Arrays for Photography and Pro Video Read More Designed for demanding data recording, including video and audio streams, the 64TB 16-Bay SAS Expander JBOD Array from JMR Electronics provides users with sixteen 3.5" hot-swappable SAS-2/SATA III 6 Gb/s drive bays, each of which is equipped with a 4TB 3.5" hard drive, for a total storage capacity of 64TB. While this system does not contain any RAID controllers, they can be turned into a RAID once connected to a host-resident RAID controller. This model is for those who already have a RAID controller, or those who only need JBOD storage by using an SAS host bus adapter without RAID. Additionally, the dual SAS expanders within this array allow SAS expansion (daisy-chaining) from one unit to another, all connected to the same host computer, for up to seven total chassis (112 disk drives).
This array has a 3 RU form factor and can be mounted in compatible rackmounts, where it interfaces with your setup using an SAS connection. It also features dual hot-swappable cooling and power modules, is SES 2.0 compliant, has a split backplane, and includes cables. Protection is provided by a limited 3-year warranty.
