Product description Expand the capabilities of your Mac Mini with the Mac Mini Lightning Thunderbolt/RAID Rackmount Work Station from JMR. This chassis features a slide-off top cover that lets you install your own Mac Mini, which then connects to the front panel offering a host of connectivity options including USB 3.0, audio, GbE, and HDMI ports, as well as a built-in card reader. Inside this Rackmount chassis is a Thunderbolt controller along with dual PCIe x8 full-height slots and a 6 Gb/s SAS RAID controller designed to run up to eight 2.5" drives inserted into slots found on the front of the enclosure. Once installed the drives can then be configured into a variety of RAID configurations including RAID 0/1/4/5/6/10/40/50/60 allowing this workstation to suit the needs of nearly any user. Once configured five built-in fans keep everything cool when the workstation is installed into a rack space with a 20" mounting depth. - Designed for DI carts or machine room operations
