Product description The FB-TM2 Top-Mount Flash Bracket from Jobu Design is a straight flash bracket that is for use with a telephoto lens and a top-mount gimbal style head. It can also be used with a ball head or handheld. The bracket mounts directly to a replacement foot or lens plate, and therefore doesn't need to be adjusted to shoot in a vertical orientation. The clamp is Arca-type compatible, and it requires a plate with a double dovetail design. You need 0.75" of free room to attach the bracket to the plate. This allows the lens to shoot in a vertical orientation by simply releasing the lens collar lock and turning the camera. The flash bracket places the flash approximately 12" above the center of the telephoto lens, which extends the light higher and further for objects that are far away. The bracket is machined from a solid billet brick of 6061-T6 aluminum, and the clamp's locking knob is made of stainless steel. Also, the graphics are laser-engraved directly onto the bracket. Furthermore, the aluminum has been black anodized, which makes the bracket resistant to abrasions and corrosion. Most hot shoes mount right on the top of the bracket, but an ADPT-SC29 adapter is required for the Nikon SC-29 flash cord. - The clamp is Arca-type compatible, and mounts directly on a double dovetail plate
- Because the lens rotates on the lens collar, the straight bracket does not require movement
- Works seamlessly with Jobu Design gimbal heads
- Black anodized machined 6061-T6 aluminum is resistant to abrasions and corrosion
- The bracket places the flash ~12" above the center of the telephoto lens
