Product description Jobu Design's SF-CP-1 Surefoot Clamp Plate is a simple Arca-Swiss style universal plate which allows you to easily mount any SLR, DSLR, many point-and-shoot cameras, camcorders and collared lenses to tripod heads with an Arca-Swiss style quick-release clamp. It works with clamps from manufacturers such as, but not limited to: Kirk, Really Right Stuff, Markins, Aratech, Foba, and Studioball. The camera or other equipment to be mounted must have a threaded 1/4" threaded mounting hole. Devices with a 3/8" mounting hole require an adapter bushing (sold separately). In some cases this plate interferes with the ability to quickly access the camera's battery compartment without completely removing the plate from the camera body. Before you order your plate, it would be wise to check the measurements on the bottom of your camera. - Designed to provide a solid, twist-free connection to your camera body.
- Its thin profile and generously rounded corners make it easy on the hands; it blends beautifully with the contours of your camera.
- It has a threaded hole for non-quick-release applications. It has a third hole that is threaded and can be used to attach your camera or other device to a 1/4" stud on a tripod head platform without the need for a quick-release clamp.
