Product description The Gorillapod Focus Flexible Tripod with Ballhead X Kit from Joby is an ultra-versatile mini-tripod that was designed for use with large SLR cameras with mid-sized zoom lenses attached, or with prosumer level camcorders weighting up to 11 lb. The Gorillapod Focus allows you to achieve the stability of a standard tripod, but at a fraction of the size and weight. The three multi-segmented flexible legs can be formed to grip almost any protrusion, be it a branch, doorknob, rock, or uneven surface.
Its sockets are machined from sturdy aluminum, with anodized gunmetal finish. Each of the joints can bend and rotate 360°, to wrap around objects. The bottom rubber segment on the legs is larger to allow it to be used in the traditional way.
The included Joby Ballhead X allows for creative camera positioning when mounted to your Gorillapod Focus. It's lightweight at only 9.3 oz, compact at just 3.3" tall, and like the Gorillapod Focus, can support up to 11 lb. The Ballhead X features a standard Arca-type compatible quick release clamp and includes a matching "X" shaped quick release plate. The dual action design of this ball head allows for full 360° panning and separate camera positioning. The head features a 3/8"-16 bottom thread which allows it to be mounted to most standard tripod legs. Table of Contents
