Product description The Joué Board is an expressive modular MIDI control surface that offers an innovative and evolving instrument interface thanks to the integrated highly sensitive sensor, which can operate with multidimensional polyphonic expression (MPE). The wood and metal enclosure is well crafted for a lifetime of use and features a sensor block with three slots to accommodate the various optional sensor modules. The Joué Board doesn't generate sounds on its own, as it is just a controller. Once fitted with a module (available separately), the device responds to vertical, horizontal, and pressure movements, and sends MIDI data such as control changes, pitchbends, etc. to the connected device, which generates the sounds. Each module is made from soft and elastic material capable of transmitting the very slightest pressure variant, which makes for a remarkable feeling of interaction based on natural gestures normally reserved for traditional instruments. Modules fit the sensor to provide different layouts of play and control. The Joué Board can be used as a standard MIDI controller, effects controller, drum pad, and more. Simply swap modules on-the-fly to create a new instrument/controller.What's more, each module utilizes magnets to keep them locked in place, while the integrated RFID provides the board with an efficient way to remember and program the modules. By default, each module is set to a separate MIDI channel, keeping them independent from each other. The Joué Editor software is a free download and allows for the custom configuration of each magic module. Additionally, it is possible to control hardware synthesizers without a connected computer. The Joué Board is powered by an included USB Type-C cable and includes a software package download available with registration. Note: The Jou
