It is a photo resizing application designed to reduce files sizes of JPEG images by up to 80% without sacrificing resolution while maintaining the highest possible image quality.
The Pro version provides support for images of up to 50 MP in resolution and can utilize every core on a multi-core CPU simultaneously. This provides the power to convert large files at a much faster rate. Also, in addition to standalone versions for Windows and Mac-based computers, a plug-in for Adobe Lightroom is included.
